Dr. Randy Koski, Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Randy Koski is a compassionate, loving, family man with a beautiful wife Jodie, an adorable daughter Katie, and a very energetic son Eian. He lives among his family and friends in the City of Greater Sudbury. Dr. Koski graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, and from there pursued an education as a Doctor of Chiropractic, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude from New York Chiropractic College in 1996. After graduation, he moved back to his hometown of Sudbury, Ontario to begin his practice career.

Dr. Koski has since built two successful practices where he serves his patients with kindness, love and understanding. During the years that he has been practicing, he has been a mentor to other new chiropractic graduates. His clinic is a recognized externship clinic for chiropractic interns. His gentle manner invites a tremendous amount of respect among his friends, patients and co-workers.

He is a knowledgeable and trustworthy chiropractic advocate speaking at schools, community groups, seminars and workplaces. He also does several outreaches each year. His passion and commitment to the health and well-being of the community that he serves, has fueled his search for the most current information on wellness. He is currently pursuing a wellness certification, which focuses on the importance of the eat, move and think paradigm for health, and has extensive training in Functional Neurology.

Dr. Randy is involved in his community and has been a coach and trainer in minor hockey. He has served as vice-president of the Sudbury and District Chiropractic Society. Dr. Randy has successfully completed the Six Advisors coaching program. He has co-authored the book “Tired of Being Sick and Tired”. Most recently, he received the prestigious Canadian Chiropractor of The Year award from Parker Seminars. This was for his dedication to serving his patients by guiding them to lead more productive, healthy and happy lives; as well as for his contributions to the advancement of the chiropractic profession worldwide. He is a man who continually strives for balance in life, and is devoted to helping others achieve the same.

Linda Kutchaw, Massage Therapist

Linda has over 20 years of professional massage therapy experience and a passion for helping her clients move forward in attaining their physical and personal goals. Linda is very passionate about the work she does at Barrydowne Family Chiropractic! She believes it is important for people of all ages to have positive touch in their lives. Her passion is to ensure everyone has an opportunity to feel that. Within her sessions, she utilizes techniques from her studies, which include therapeutic massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage.

Linda is also passionate about pre and post natal massage. As a mother herself, she understands what you are feeling, both physically and emotionally, and loves nothing more than sharing her joy, excitement and healing touch with expecting and postpartum mothers.

Linda’s family is her number one priority! She and her husband James have been married for 20 years. Most of Linda’s free time is spent at the arena watching her 2 daughters, Jenna & Kristen, figure skate. Her family shares a love of the outdoors, especially at their family camp where they enjoy activities such as fishing, hiking, swimming and spending quality time around a well built campfire!

Liane Mayer, Massage Therapist

Liane is a Registered Massage Therapist at Barrydowne Family Chiropractic, and demonstrates her commitment to the well being of her patients and clients, on a daily basis. She has been with the team since October 2007. Liane graduated from College Boreal and has been practicing massage therapy since 2001. Prior to being a massage therapist, she studied Athletic Therapy at Concordia University in Montreal.

Liane practices several massage techniques which include Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, remedial exercises, pregnancy massage and muscle energy technique. She is extremely devoted to the overall wellness of each of her patients and clients, and loves helping each person feel that their body is functioning optimally.

Liane is a wife and mother of two wonderful and rambunctious young boys. She loves to experience the outdoor life, especially hockey and golf. She is also an avid vegetable gardener.

Hana Perreault Fortin, Massage Therapist

Hana is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) at the beginning of her professional journey and a graduate of Collège Boréal. Hana has always had a strong commitment to health and well-being, she has pursued massage therapy to provide effective, therapeutic care tailored to each client’s needs. Hana’s approach combines a deep understanding of the human body with a compassionate, personalized touch, ensuring each treatment not only addresses pain and tension but also supports long-term wellness.

Mary Ellen, Chiropractic Assistant

Mary Ellen is a high-performer on our team, and is extremely focused on reaching goals and creating an amazing patient experience! She is an exceptionally valuable asset, and her commitment to our patients is a tremendous responsibility in our clinic. Having worked previously in our Chelmsford clinic, and now with us, she has the genuine ability to make each patient feel right at home. Her outstanding interpersonal skills, distinctive laughter and awareness of the benefits of chiropractic, are what awaits each patient as they enter the clinic. Mary Ellen recognizes that we all have the power within us to become victoriously, healthy individuals, and that we may all reach our true health potential through chiropractic, and living a balanced lifestyle.

In her spare time, Mary Ellen can be found visiting her family in her hometown of Stratford or sitting on a beach somewhere hot with her husband.

Laura, Chiropractic Assistant

We are pleased to introduce Laura, our chiropractic health assistant who joined the Barrydowne Family Chiropractic team in 2022. Outside of the office, Laura is happily married to her husband Marc, and they have three children: Seth, McKenna, and Owen.

Laura is passionate about holistic health and strives to maintain a healthy lifestyle (with the occasional indulgence, of course!). In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, painting, repurposing furniture, watching movies, and taking road trips.

To further her knowledge in holistic health, Laura is currently enrolled in a Holistic Nutrition program. We are delighted to have Laura as part of our team, and we are confident that you will enjoy working with her.
